1. About us
Swift Money Limited is a company registered in England under company number 07552504. Our registered office is Hamill House, 112 - 116 Chorley New Road, Bolton, BL1 4DH.
Swift Money Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 738569. You can verify our authorisation on the FCA Register.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZA069965.
When we provide a service to a customer, our obligation is only to that customer. If you use our service on behalf of a third party, our obligation remains to you as our direct customer. These terms apply to you alone, not to any third party on whose behalf you may be acting.
2. Our service limitations
Swift Money Limited is a credit broker, not a lender. We do not provide finance directly to customers. Our role is to match your application with lenders or providers of financial services from our panel.
Any examples of amounts available to borrow, repayment terms, or rates stated on our website are representative examples. They are published to help you understand the products available. They are not an offer of credit.
Representative examples do not guarantee what you will actually be offered by a lender. They are not a warranty. Because we do not provide the loan directly, we cannot control the rates offered to individual applicants.
The decision to offer any loan or financial product is made by the lender. Swift Money has no control over that decision. The lender will conduct its own assessment of each applicant before any offer is made. This assessment normally includes a review of your credit history.
3. Customer checks and referencing
When you apply through our website we do not perform a credit check. However, the lender that accepts your application may use fraud prevention and credit reference agencies to help them make their decision.
Credit checks help prevent fraudulent applications. By applying, you agree to the use of your data for the purpose of preventing fraud as well as verifying your identity.
All information you provide must be true, accurate, complete. Misleading information is a breach of these terms. It is also likely to breach any agreement you enter into with a lender. In serious cases, the provision of false information may result in criminal proceedings being brought against you.
If you authorise a third party to access our service on your behalf, any instructions given by that authorised third party will be contractually binding on you.
If you make a joint application with another person, each applicant will be treated as acting with the consent of the other. Any correspondence we enter into with one applicant will be treated as communication with both.
4. Information about you
We only process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, protect your personal data.
When you use our website you consent to the processing of your information. You warrant that all information you provide is accurate, correct, up to date.
